2016: NEW FERRARI 488 GT3 - NEW BUGGY SMG - LE MANS 24 HOURS SUCCESS WITH SCUDERIA CORSA
Many novelties in 2016:

The new Ferrari 488 GT3 hits the race tracks and thanks to Kessel Racing Hugues Lardy is involved with racing this new car. Class wins in the Blancpain GT Series in Monza then in Brands Hatch with Michael Broniszewski in spring are a very good start.

The Ferrari 458 GTE entered by JMW Motorsport in the European Le Mans Series is still highly competitive and will be a title contender at the end of the racing season.

The JMW Mototorsport Ferrari having not been invited by the ACO to take part in the 2016 Le Mans 24 Hours, Hugues Lardy has been appointed race engineer of the Ferrari 458 GTE entered by US team Scuderia Corsa.

The no. 62 Scuderia Corsa Ferrari 458 Italia driven by the all-American lineup of Townsend Bell, Jeff Segal and Bill Sweedler captured victory in the GTE-Am class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans on Sunday afternoon in only the teamís second appearance at the endurance classic. Throughout the race, the Scuderia Corsa Ferrari was a contender for victory, taking the lead for the first time as the sun began to set in the raceís fifth hour. From that point the Ferrari had the GTE-Am victory in its sights, and Jeff Segal took the checkered flag just after 3:00 PM on Sunday afternoon.

No Dakar Rallye this year for SMG Challenge, but the completion of a brand new 2WD buggy after 10 months of hard work both in design and manufacturing is a reward as it seems this is the nicest and best finished buggy out of the SMG factory. The first 2 cars headed directly to their new owner's workshop in China.

On the Antarctica side, phase 2 of the Venturi Antarctica prototype is in progress after the successful tests held in 2015.
