2013: DESIGN WORK AND VARIETY IN RACING ACTIVITIES
DESIGN - AUTOMOBILES VENTURI - Antarctica project:
The project has been progressing steadilyb all through the year. Most of the design is achieved. "Antarctica Phase 1", an electric vehicle aiming to support scientists activities in Antarctica will be be tested shortly. In this project Hugues Lardy was in charge of the engine/transmission installation, as well as the production of the brake system and the integration of batteries and electric components.

DESIGN - SMG CHALLENGE:
Having once again achieve a superb win in the 2013 Dakar Rally in the 2WD category, the SMG buggys have once again been developped as soon as they came back from South America, including some new suspensions, a new transaxle, a new bodywork as well as many details which have been developped following last year's experience. All this hard work from the SMG team, with the design input of Samtech lead to a first reward, with former Rally world Champion and Dakar winner Carlos SAINZ deciding to drive a Red Bull Team SMG buggy in the 2014 Dakar.

TRACK RACING:
Due to business Michael Broniszewski had to stop racing in 2013 until the last 2 races of the GT-Open. However, in Barcelona, the Kessel Racing duo (Broniszewski/Peter) took a superb overall win in front of a 30+ field.
2013 was also the opportunity to work with Morand Racing in Le Mans 24 Hours, where this new team took its Morgan LMP2 to a superb 11th position overall and 5th in class.
It was also the opportunity to work for the first time with JMW-Motorsport's Ferrari F458, and engineer some old acquaintances like Andrea Bertolini.
In the Blancpain Endurance Series, the SMG-Porsche engineered by Hugues Lardy had an up and down season and had its best result with a superb 11th overall and 6th in class position in the highly rated 24 Hours of Spa.
