Dakar Rallye: 2Wheel Drive win for SMG with Samtech support
The SMG Challenge entry in the 2010 Rally Dakar was a 3 buggys entry, with support of a quick service car, a racing truck and 3 service trucks.
Philippe Gache / Fabrice Gordon with the new SMG build BMW powered buggy were showing good performance before the crew retired following a crash.
Beinat Errandonea / Jean-Pierre Garcin won the highly regarded T1- 2 wheel drive class in front of more than 20 competitors after a very tough race. This superb result was settled only 2 stages from the end of this 15 stages very demanding rallye.
Hugues Lardy was acting as a team-manager and technical coordinator.

GT-Open: GT2 with Kessel Racing and Broniszewski / Peter
Having engineered Michal Broniszewski / Philipp Peter when they became GT3-Champions in 2009, Hugues Lardy is engineering their Ferrari 430 GT2 in the highly competitive Super GT category of the 2010 International GT Open Championship. Raced on the nicest circuits in Europe, including Monza, Spa or Nürburgring the duo fought amongst the GT2 class leaders and obtained several podium finishes. The season ended in Vallelunga, for the 6 Hours race, entered by 58 cars, when Peter/Bronszewski won Pole Position and finished 2nd overall, just 1mn behing the AF Corse winning Ferrari.

Le Mans Series: Formula Le Mans with Hope Pole Vision Racing
Hugues Lardy is coming back to racing prototypes with the newcomer (in the LMS) Hope Pole Vision Racing with their 2 Courage-Oreca FLM entries. These cars are not unknown to Hugues Lardy as they are an evolution of the Courage LC75 that was used by Courage in 2007. Steve Zacchia is the lead driver of car #47, and Christophe Pillon, who was one of the drivers of the Reynard LMP-675 that Hugues Lardy managed to class victory in Le Mans 24hours a few years ago, is one of the drivers of car #48. Steve Zacchia finished 2nd in the Championship.
